What you're actually booking
The north is the busy, colourful side of the island. We start in Port Louis — the Central Market with its spice stalls and street food, the Caudan Waterfront, and the Citadel fort looking down over the whole capital.
From there we head up the coast: Pamplemousses Botanical Garden with its giant water lilies and 85 kinds of palm, the fishing village of Cap Malheureux and its red-roofed church looking out at Coin de Mire, and finally Grand Baie for the beach and the shops.
There is a lunch stop built into the day at a good local spot — lunch itself isn't included, so you pick what you fancy and pay on the day.
