7 Cascades Hike
A guided hike down through the Tamarind Falls gorge — seven waterfalls, emerald pools and a swim under the falls.
What you're actually booking
The 7 Cascades, or Tamarind Falls, is a chain of seven waterfalls dropping through a jungle gorge in the highlands. The hike takes you down into the gorge itself rather than looking at it from a viewpoint.
The trail is steep and slippery in places, which is exactly why you go with a guide who knows it. The reward is a series of emerald pools you can swim in, with the falls coming down beside you.
It's a half-day out and it pairs well with the Le Morne climb on another day — but they are two separate hikes, priced separately.
