Five islands in one day off the south-east coast — Île aux Aigrettes, Île de la Passe, Île aux Fouquets, Île aux Marianne and the lighthouse island — with a barbecue, grilled fish, rum and beer.
What you're actually booking
The south-east corner of Mauritius is scattered with small uninhabited islands, and this is the day you get all of them. We run out of Mahébourg bay into some of the clearest water on the island and work our way around five very different stops.
Île de la Passe still carries the ruins of the 18th-century fort that guarded the channel; Île aux Fouquets has the old stone lighthouse, roofless and photogenic; Île aux Aigrettes is a coral island nature reserve of ebony forest and giant tortoises; Île aux Marianne and the outer islets are pure snorkelling water.
Lunch is cooked on the sand — barbecue, grilled fish, salads and rice, with rum and beer flowing. It is a group day out, sociable and unhurried, and easily the best value big excursion we run.

Pickups and drop-offs within Flic-en-Flac are included in the cost. Pickups anywhere else on the island can be arranged for a small additional fee — just tell us where you're staying when you book and we'll quote it.
Prices shown are a starting point, based on a standard pickup in Flic-en-Flac. Entrance tickets, lunches, drinks and optional activities are pay-as-you-go on the day unless listed as included, and pickups outside Flic-en-Flac carry a small extra fee. Any additional costs are confirmed with you before you travel.
