What you're actually booking
This is the day most people remember. We cross the island early, board a sailing catamaran on the east coast and drift out across the widest, palest lagoon in Mauritius towards Île aux Cerfs — an island of powder-white sand and casuarina trees that has been on postcards for fifty years and still deserves it.
The boat is yours for the day. The crew put music on, keep the drinks coming and anchor in shallow turquoise water where you can swim straight off the back. Lunch is grilled on board — fish, chicken, sausages, salads and rice — served with rum punch, beer and soft drinks.
In the afternoon we stop at the GRSE waterfall for photos before sailing back at a lazy pace. It is a long, slow, sun-soaked day rather than a rushed sightseeing run, and it suits couples, families and groups equally well.

Pickups and drop-offs within Flic-en-Flac are included in the cost. Pickups anywhere else on the island can be arranged for a small additional fee — just tell us where you're staying when you book and we'll quote it.
Prices shown are a starting point, based on a standard pickup in Flic-en-Flac. Entrance tickets, lunches, drinks and optional activities are pay-as-you-go on the day unless listed as included, and pickups outside Flic-en-Flac carry a small extra fee. Any additional costs are confirmed with you before you travel.
