What you're actually booking
Begin at the Blue Safari welcoming desk in Trou aux Biches, then cross by shuttle boat to the submarine base. After a professional safety briefing, climb aboard the certified 10-seat submarine for a dry, air-conditioned journey beneath the Indian Ocean.
The submarine descends to 35 metres for a 40-minute dive. Every passenger has a close view of the coral reef and colourful marine life, with the route passing the Star Hope shipwreck and a 17th-century anchor on the ocean floor.
Back at the surface, return to the base for a refreshment and your submarine dive certificate before the shuttle takes you ashore. No swimming or diving experience is needed.
